Love & Lady-Boners

“So Grace tied you up and tortured you?” Gwen asked as she helped me change the bandages on my back. “I didn’t see that coming.”

“Yeah, it was a lot of fun,” I replied, “I think when she comes back I may have her do it again. She is good. I haven’t been tortured like that in years.”

“When did she leave?”

“She’s been gone since Friday, and you’re not worried?” Gwen asked.

“Not even a little bit. She had a lot to mull over after I explained the circumstances of Dylan’s death-”

“That’s her dead husband right?”

“Yeah, I killed him a few years back, Robert told her, and she worked to get close to me. I knew what she was going to do a week before she tied me up-”

“And you let her torture you anyway…” Gwen said.

“I mean, when you have that level of anger, it’s only a matter of time until you blow up the building. I’d rather have a bit of fun for a chance to tell her the whole story,” I said.

“I don’t understand you sometimes,” Gwen said.

“Yes, you do,” I smiled, “You and I have been together a long time. How many times have I been captured or tortured throughout our relationship?”

“I’d rather not think about it,” Gwen replied with a grimace.

“You think about it often enough,” I teased, “I can hear through the walls upstairs.”

Gwen pulled a bandage off quickly, tearing at the sensitive skin around all the on my back. It felt like a combination of a series of needles and a lighter being held to my skin. It was wonderful.

“Careful now, you don’t want to get me all worked up again. You have no idea how long it took me to get rid of my lady-boner after Grace let me down,” I laughed.

“I hate you, Henry,” she said.

“I love you too, Gwen,” I replied, “So what’s for dinner?”
